Fact Check: Slovakian Party Progressive Slovakia Does NOT Want To Legalize All Drugs Out Of Context

Does the Slovakian party Progressive Slovakia want to legalize all drugs? No, that's not true: the caption in the video is misleading. The man in the video is Jaroslav Spišiak, a former Slovakian police president and former vice president. He answers positively to the question: "Are you for legalizing cannabis?" He never says the Progressive Slovakia party wants to legalize all drugs.

The claim appeared in a video (archived here) published on TikTok by @matovicov.cirkus on July 27, 2023, under the title "Legalizovať drogy, hlasovať za registrované partnerstvá 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ boh chráň Slovensko😳". Translated into English by Lead Stories staff, it reads: "Legalize drugs, vote for civil partnerships 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ God Save Slovakia😳." It opened:

Progressives want to legalize all drugs?!

This is what the post looked like on TikTok at the time of writing:
