Is the Slovak president Zuzana Čapútova an American agent? No, that's not true: It was indicated that these accusations were unfounded and go beyond the boundaries of political rivalry by the Slovak District, Regional, and finally, the Constitutional Court.

The charge has been refuted by court rulings.
For several years, Čapútová has faced criticism from opposition parties in parliament, accusing her of being an American agent or even billionaire anti-fascist financier George Soros' child. The claim is widespread on social media, mainly on Facebook, by the two Slovak politicians Ľuboš Blah and Róber Fico. It was also posted on TikTok by unknown profiles, including @itzzking205.
In March 2022, the District Court ordered Ľuboš Blaha to delay the publication and dissemination of false claims. These claims included that she is a traitor, an agent for foreign powers and that she is controlled by the United States. Ľuboš Blaha appealed the decision but was unsuccessful. An appeal against the decision of the regional court is no longer admissible. The court agreed with the justification of the issued emergency measure and confirmed that there is no rational argument for the Slovak president, to be an American agent.
At the same time, the court's decision confirmed European jurisprudence, according to which politicians and public figures must accept a higher level of public criticism than other citizens, but even within the framework of a political battle, there are boundaries. These boundaries are, for example, unjustified accusations of committing serious crimes and self-serving insults based on lies.
